Course Reps

Each course at the University of Westminster has a course representative (also know as course rep). The course rep is a student on the course whose job it is to give feedback from students to committee meetings about the course they are studying.
The course rep is elected by other students on the same course. Course rep elections take place at the start of each term.
I am a course rep … tell me more
When you start as a course rep you will attend a training workshop; here you will find out more about your role as a course rep and how to make the most of it.
It is really important that, as a course rep, your fellow students know who you are and that they should feed any comments about their course to you.
The course rep handbook tells you all you need to know about being a course rep and will prove a useful resource throughtout your time as a course rep. You can download a copy of the latest handbook below.
If you are a course rep you are entitled to claim a £10 allowance when you attend a course committee meeting. To claim your £10 you must fill in a meeting allowance request. On the form you must include notes from the meeting. The form needs to be signed by the Chair of the committee and someone from the Students’ Union before you can claim the allowance.

Course rep elections take place at the start of every term. Speak to your course leader who will be able to advise you about becoming a course rep.
